At Surf Sister we offer an elevated product that highlights safety, skill, and customer service.

We provide 36 hours of paid training to make sure everyone who joins the team feels their most confident and comfortable in any situation.

Surf Coaching

All instructors are given the opportunity to receive weekly coaching from Shannon Brown throughout the season. These coaching sessions include real-time feedback in the water, as well as video review!

Subsidized Housing

It’s no secret that the cost of living in Tofino is outrageous, which is why we offer subsidized housing to all full-time surf instructors. Rent includes hydro, wifi, and parking.

Wetsuit

Upon completing the paid 36 hours of training, all staff receive a brand new Billabong 5/4 wetsuit.

Surfing Photos

At the end of the season, staff are given a little keep-sake of their time with Surf Sister and in Tofino with photos by Bryanna Bradley. Bryanna is a local surf photographer, and past Surf Sister!

Sauna!

The latest addition to the Shred Quarters is an electric sauna for staff only to use after teaching a lesson!
